Introduction:
Members of the Movement of Corporate Directors and Entrepreneurs from Cameroon (MCDEC) join the association to facilitate mutual assistance, enrich their skills and professional networks and participate in carrying out the MCDEC ‘s missions:
- Promoting the role of the Cameroonian diaspora in their country of residence and in Cameroon
- Accelerate the integration and socio-professional success of members,
- Work towards the development of economic exchanges and the transfer of skills between the country of residence and Cameroon,
- Promote exchanges between entrepreneurs and leaders from all sectors.
The MCDEC and its members define themselves as a network of professionals sharing common values: exchange and openness, volunteering and sharing, commitment and active participation, involvement and conviviality, generosity and kindness, respect and courtesy, humility, simplicity, positivity, knowing how to give in order to receive, proactivity; a common desire to share its resources, expertise and professional know-how with other members.
Each Member who joins the MCDEC undertakes to:
. get involved
that is to say organize and lead meetings, workshops, Speed Networking, seminars, commissions, or working groups, etc.; participate regularly and diligently in meetings, workshops, seminars, commissions, groups, etc.; play an active role in the life of the Network;
. encourage
everyone’s involvement, support initiatives, encourage everyone to take action;
. promptly inform
the person issuing an invitation, by updating their registration on the site (and unsubscribing if applicable); notify the organizer of any delay or impediment; respond promptly to any request for assistance from a member of the Network;
. share
its network with other members in a transparent and reliable manner; offer business and employment opportunities and useful information to all;
. put
update their profile on the website and update it in the event of professional development;
. sponsor
other people who share the same values and act as guarantor for them; fully assume their role as “mentor sponsor” in the integration of new members;
. pay
their contributions within the allotted time.
Each Member who joins the MCDEC undertakes to:
- the mode of organization in pairs for any commission, working group or other.
- the individual development of each of the Members;
- the confidentiality of other Members and information specific to MCDEC;
- the facilitator of an event and let him manage his meeting (intervene appropriately and respect his authority) ;
- the pilot(s) of the commissions, their work and their decisions;
- its commitments (network animation, participation in events, sponsorship, exchanges with Members, etc.)
- everyone’s time through their punctuality at meetings and through the sobriety of their communications (micro message, email, message on LinkedIn, etc.), communications whose purpose remains within the framework of the MCDEC’s missions;
- the purpose and statutes of the MCDEC by maintaining the free nature of events and workshops if possible; events which do not fully benefit from the financial resources or materials of the MCDEC may be subject to a fee and are in no case obligatory;
- the organizations that host the MCDEC by leaving the rooms in impeccable condition.
The member is prohibited from:
- to exercise any undue influence or take an interest in another Member;
- any use for commercial purposes, without the authorization of the source, of the information exchanged within the framework of the MCDEC;
- to communicate his personal access code to the MCDEC network platform;
- to distribute the Association ‘s files outside the MCDEC or to recruit for other associations;
- to lead more than one Commission or permanent activity;
- to belong to more than three associations of the same type as the MCDEC;
- to use the association’s resources (e-mailing, etc.) to criticize a member;
- to open MCDEC meetings to non-contributors (without authorization from the elected Bureau of the Association)
